Yeongwol gun & Danyang gun

Namhan gang is really a fertile river. Especially the course from Gosu Daekyo (grand bridge), that connects Danyang to Gosu cave, upto Yeongchun located at the upper stretch of the river has been reputed as one of the best fishing points for Sogari and other species in Korea. The good reputation is still valid. The road that goes always along the river makes access to any shore easy  The river has a real variety of points at every crooks. The scenic foothills allong the river, secret beauty of the rocky bluffs hidden under dense pine forests on the slopes of the mountains and good fishing, furthermore, make anglers to be fanatics of this river. The points on this river are spread so widely that big crowd can make a fishing tirp.at once. In the summer, there are big towns of tents on some shores made of sandy beaches. The trophy species for lure fishers on this spot is Sogari but this river provides many Gangjunchi and Keuri as well that are fighters fiercer than Sogari.  It takes about three and half hours by car from Seoul.
