The actual fishing spots are from Osaek elementary school to the confluence near Song cheon kyo (bridge). Many lure fishers, bait fishers and fly fishers like to visit thi stream. * Rapids upward from Gwandae ri - there are lots of Sancheoneo in the stream.. Fishing is always good * Muley bang ah Hyekyeso (snack house) - Leaving your car beside the hyukyeso, you can go down the ramp to the shore. There are pools scatteredly. Since the pools are abundant of fish, you would hooks some on several fly castings. The good spots make the row from that point to Baek am ri (village).
From closed trout farm to the ruined water barrier, the spots seem to be best on Osaek cheon. There are rapids and big pools mixed, spread widely. On the long pool at lower part of the stream, the surface condition is suitable for fly fishing. Around the ruined barrier, it seems that lots of trouts ambush., especially big trouts and Sancheoneo.
If you begin fishing from the lower section upward, you'd better actually start your quest from the paddies on stairs after passing by the village at the end of cemented road on the right side of Song cheon kyo (bridge). But, parking is inconvenient within this area.
Song eo ri provides lots of good spots with mixed pools and rapids, sepecially chosen by many beginners. Lure fishing is also available on those spots. and, you would hook some Sancheon eo and trouts. Those are the best spots on Osaek cheon. On those spots, fishing condition is best on the average water level.
