Keundeok myeon, Samcheok si. Euneo, Song eo, ...
This stream is a long winding stream flowing about 25 km long around Keundeok in the south of Samcheok.
It was one of the most famous fishing spots for Euneo(Sweet smelt) in Korea, located in vicinity with Osip cheon, Gagok cheon, Gungchon cheon. In the stream, there are not many barriers under water that makes Enuneo anadromous easily from the sea. You have good pine forests near the stream that are excellent for camping. All the spots for Euneo are good for fly casting as well. Fly rods of 2~3 weight equipped with midge can lure many Pirami and etc.. It takes aprox. 5 and half hours from Seoul. Within 1 km or so from Keundeok, a wide pine forest comes in sight on the left side, around that the stream flows. You can bring the car under the forest and you will find the rapids area in front of the forest. Water condition is good for fly fishing.
Upper part of Dong mak kyo : Within a section of 10 km or so, you have a famous fishing spot of Euneo, where you find a harmony of rapids and pools nearby. Fly castings on all the spots of Euneo will be effective. The species are mainly Pirami, big Pirami especially.
