Chilseong myeon, Kwesan gun

This is the lake made by Gowesan dam built on Dalcheon gang that is a upper stream of Namhan gang. The dam is the smallest in the country among the ones built for  generating electricity. The species are really varied and many kinds of fishers visit for fishing their favorite fish. The surrounding is scenic. There are lots of good camping places and fishing spots along the shore. Castings from the shore hit Keuri well. The good spots of Sogari are around submerged rocky areas and downed trees areas in front of Gulbawi nongwon(farm). Coming out from exit [Jeung pyeong I.C.] on the Jungbu express way, drive toward Chilseong myeon next to Kwesan. And, turn to the right for running toward Saeum ri. You will find Kwesan dam in about 3 km. It takes about three hours by car from Seoul.
