on Gagok kyo. The best fishing spot is about 100 meter long toward upper stretch of the barrier. There is a weedy area on the shore, and fishing is usually good on the bank. The shore is covered with sand and gravels and opposite bluffs are completely rocky. Keokji are many in this area, too.
Sambae ri :
There is a water barrier on the left of the bridge, and the best fishing spot is spread about 50 meters long from the bridge. To reach to the spot, you should park your car on the roadside and go down through the ramp. It is not the dangerous way but quite inconvenient that many fishers doesn't visit thie spot. Therefore, the fish are relatively plenty.
Under the barrier at upper part of Chodang kyo :
It is a pool where the water level keeps always steady. Main species are Keokji and you can hoist many on spinners.
Cheong gok kyo :
IThere is a barrier located between Gubiso and Sambae kyo. About 150 meter from the barrier to another barrier at lower part of Cheong gok kyo is the best fishing spot on Keumkye cheon. To approach to the fishing spot, you should go down from the road through the ramp. This stream that flows through the village makes you easy to camp on the bank because you can get food and other needs from many stores and facilities in the vicinity. Lots of Keokji are coming up on spinners and some Megui (far eastern catfish) too, on the rocky bottom area.
Gubiso(pool) :
It is a pool located at Gubiso maeul (village). Park your car in Gubiso village and go down through the ramp to the sandy shore about 60 meters long. There is a good wide bank for camping and fishing. The opposite shore has bluffs. The best fishing spot near Gubiso is the opposite shore a little more upward.
Maegok ri :
This spot avoids the entrance of any cars blocking with the rough road. Therefore, you would not meet many fishers there. To access to the spot, take the unpaved road on your left at Maegok ri that leads you to the shore of the stream but, it is still about 300 meters distant to the spot that you should go on foot.

Take the national road # 44 and proceed to Cheongwun via Yangpyeong and, change direction toward Hwengseong and turn to the left at Saemal. You will arrive through the seat of Gongkeun myeon office. ...//

Hweng seong gun
If you hesitate to choose the fishing spots, go first to 10 barriers or so and try to fish on the pool under the barriers. You will surely catch some ! There are specially plenty of Keokji on this stream. 
within this area, the bottom is rocky that is suitable for Keokji's ambush. There are really plenty of Keokji.
