Galcheon ri, Hyeonbuk myeon, Yang yang gun.
Sancheoneo, Keokji, Galkyeoni, ...

This stream is an effluent of Namdae cheon of Yangyang. It meets Osaek cheon and becomes Namdae cheon, then. There are plenty of wild trouts escaped from the trouts fisheries long time ago.  The stream is long and it makes rapids, riffles, pools, in each crook and around barriers that provide wide fishing spots. The main species are Sancheoneo and trouts as well as Pirami and Galkyeoni. It takes aprox. 5 hours by car from Seoul.

The good spots for trouts are mainly Yong so gol, lower part of Hu cheon , and around Beodeong mal near Yeong deok ri. Those spots have the stready water level and lots of big pools on the winding crooks of the stream. The probability of trouts are good. The surface of water is so vast that lure castings are also available and effective for various species.
