Seoul
Bass, Gangjunchi, Keuri, Sogari, etc. ...

All the shore are good spots for various fishing methods, like Jamsil underwater barriers, Yeo eui do bayou, Seongsan daekyo(grand bridge), etc.. Han gang is abundant in fish, especially big fish. It is easy to move to other spots along the river because all the shores are paved with cement. I find often that some fishers catch very huge Sogari, Nuchi, Ing eo (carp), Hyang eo (Israeli carp) and so on. At Yeo eui do set gang (bayou), fly casting is available and you can catch Bass and bluegills.  (PHOTO : Seong san daekyo - big bridge)

Gangjunchi is the species that survive in the polluted water, It is encountered often at the lower part of Han gang. All the fish in Han gang seem to spawn around the piers of the bridge because all the shore was straightened and covered with cement. Therefore, the initial spot to quest on Han gang should preferably be concentrated near the piers.

Water barrier southward Jamsil daekyo (big bridge) :

On this spot, lunker Nuchi of 30 ~ 40 cm long come up very often. Gangjunchi and big Sogari also hooked sometimes.

This spot is now quite reputed and so crowded that it is hard to find a sufficient space to cast lures on holidays. On Jamsil side, to hit Nuchi on spoon lures are not easy but Gangjunchi would rather be more expected. Keuri also come up often.

Sogari of this spot are fond of red worm on jighead, mostly. Sogari are not hoisted many but one or two fish on each outing would be probable. And, sometimes, really big ones fascinate the anglers. The waterof Hang gang bacame clearer than ever so, fishers say the fish hooked can be cooked and eaten.

Parking is 2,000 won (Saturday and Sunday are free) and entrance per rod is 1,000 won (500 won per additional rod). If they can keep the area clean with this payment, it is quite acceptable level of charge.

On Pung nap cheon under Jamsil railroad after rain, Ganjunchi bites many sometimes because they usually  roam in group. Considering the water is not so much clearer as the upper scetion, you 'd better use lure or flies reflecting better or of splendid colors

Misa ri :
Around IIhwa jang at Misa ri, turn to the right to enter in to village. In front of Song gwang garden, turn to the left  and you will find a plugged lane. At the end of the lane, turn around to the right side to reach the shore. It is the spot for bait fishing but lure and fly fishing could also be done. The species are varied unexpectedly.  Pirami and Keuri are abundant and somtimes, big Gangjunchi bites your lures or flies fiercely. ...//
