The main species of lure fishing on this river is Keokji. But many other species are caught by fly fishing. It is the river that rises from the Daewonsa kyegok(valley) and Jungsan ri kyegok(valley) to irrigate Jinyang ho(lake). In the summer, it is almost impossible to fish beside the crowded tents. Therefore, fishing should be done at dawn or in the dusk.  Nevertheless, this river is so fertile that you can catch some Keokji even in fishing for short time. If you are a lucky angler, you can catch Sogari, as well. There are many good places for fly casting, too. The scenery is excellent by the surrounding on the south west of great Jiri san. It takes about five hours by car from Seoul.
