Cheongpyeong      
Sogari, Gangjunchi, Bass, Keuri, Pirami, etc. ...


This river is also one of the most famous fishing spots for Kyeonji fishing on the shoal as well as on the boat. The better spots are weedy area and shoal around junction with Jojeong cheon that are good for lure fishing as well as fly fishing. The species are varied. If you approach through the recreational round, you can find a wide parking place and camping site. It takes aprox. 1 and half hours by car from Seoul.

 

 

 

  

Following national road # 5, Kyeong chun gado, turn toward Jeil gwan gwang hotel, before arriving at Cheong pyeong, to reach Gang byeon yuwonji (riverside resort area).

 

Castings toward the rapids area in front of the camping ground is productive. Casting, on the shore, toward the center of the river near the piers of bridge would be also good.

 

 There are the rapids at the junction with Jojeong cheon flows in. It is a traditionally famous spots for lure and fly fishing.

The species are relatively varied. Keuri and Gangjunchi come up often and Sogari are encountered sometimes, too.

 

 Jojeong cheon (stream) :

 Kyeonji fishing is popular around Anjeon yuwonji (resort area). The spots on the shore along the road, from Hyeon ri of Gapyeong gun, to Daebo ri, are tranquil and fertile. You can hit lots of Pirami mostly on fly fishing on Jojeong cheon.The water barriers scattered are good fishing spots but the best sections are upper reaches of Hyeon ri and lower section within 10 km from the village. Passing over the bridge 'Sinha kyo',  the road goes along with the stream. It has many good spots, too. ...//
