Byeongsan ri, Gangsang myeon, Yangpyeong gun      

Bass, Gangjunchi, Keuri, Sogari, etc. ...       

It is a good bass fishing spot after rainy season, when the main stream overflows into this by-channel of Namhan gang (river). From Bokpori, pass over Yangpyeong Daekyo (grand bridge) and turn to the right immediately and drive about 3 km to find restaurant Jinyang garden on the right.  We call  the bayou round the restaurant as 'Byeongsan ri setgang (bayou)'. It is reputed quite highly as a fishing spot for bass in spring season. The width of river is narrow as 10 ~ 20 meters max. and shallow as 1 to 2 meters max. Fly casting is also available. You will have more chance to catch big bass around junction with main channel as well as weedy area in bay. Other species like Gangjunchi, Keuri frequently bite your lures.

Byeong san ri saet gang (bayou) :
From Bokpori, crossing over Yang pyeong daekyo, turn to the right toward Gwangju to proceed for about 3 km to find restaurant [Jinyang garden] on your right. The water in front of the restaurant is called ' Byeong san ri saet gang (bayou)',  where 'trial contest of 96 KBF bass tournament' was held. It is the spots very well known as nice fishing in spring. The river is as narrow as 10 ~ 20 meters and as shallow as 1 ~ 2 meters. Bass bite much more around the submerged trees and weedy area inside the bay than the junction with the main channel.

In  front of restaurant [Hak kyo jong ie daeng daeng daeng], it is swamp area about 50 cm deep, and in front of Bam gol nong jang (farm) of opposite bank, it is weedy area. There is a sandbank, appearing in drift season only, in the swamp at the junction with main channel,where you would hook probably some lunkers. You should avoid the place where the bait fishers sat with their rods.

How to get there :

From Yang pyeong, drive for about 3.4 km on the provincail road # 308 to find Byeong san kyo(bridge). Before crossing over Byeong san kyo, turn to the right to take the unpaved road and go for about 700 meter up to the gate of Bam gol nong jang (farm)

In the meantime, you can find restaurant [Hak kyo jong ie daeng daeng daeng]] on the left side of the road when you go straight for about 500 meters,after crossing over Byeong san kyo (bridge). ...//
