This is a very good spot for Keuri on lures almost four seasons, except a few days of freezing the surface in the winter. It is one of the three impoundments that Jin cheon citizens are proud of : with Chopyeong ji, Deoksan ji. Surrounding is suitable for making an amusement park that the provincial authorities are constructing various facilities. In the summer, people enjoy water skiing, motor boat cruising, etc.. The water quality is superior. In the winter, frozen surface of the lake is crowded with ice fishers for 'Bing eo', kind of small minnows that they eat raw. Coming out from exit [Jincheon I.C.] of Jungbu express way, drive toward to Cheongju(not Chungju !) for about 10 minutes. You will see the dike of the impoundment alongside the road. It takes about 2 and half hours by car from Seoul.
