Jukgok myeon, Gokseong gun       

Sogari, Keokji, Megui, keuri, etc. ...

This river is abundant in species..It rises from Ongchi myeon Boseong gun and flows for about 120 km until it joins Seomjin gang at Abrok. In the past, the access was hard due to the difficult road condition but new road recently built made it easy. In many pools and around various rocky bottom areas in the river between Jukgok barrier at Jukgok myeon and Abrok, there are many good spots for Sogari, Keokji, Megui, Pirami etc., good campgrounds, as well. But, this area is not so easy to move along the shore because there are some rocky banks and steep bluffs. It takes about five hours by car from Seoul.
